WESTPORT LAKE
I got wolf-whistled by the potters near the canal.
It's always busy on a Sunday, life's so regional.
You were there waiting, as you always were,
I was wearing leopardskin leggings and fake fur.
So tell me what did you see?
I thought I was dreaming
When what I was really meaning
Was that my libido was screaming
Just like when we met at Westport Lake.
You were a diabolical example of humankind,
But then so was I so I didn't mind,
But you know we were so refined,
Everyone else was so behind,
You with a Number 1 and me eyelined.
So tell me what did you see?
I thought I was dreaming
When what I was really meaning
Was that my libido was screaming
Just like when we met at Westport Lake.
We haven't met for almost a year.
I've turned a personal affliction into a lifelong career.
I hang around in bars, get paid handsomely by local stars,
Though my skirts are shorter and my face has hardened,
I still wonder.
So tell me what did you see?
I thought I was dreaming
When what I was really meaning
Was that my libido was screaming
Just like when we met at Westport Lake.
